Report: Spurs nab Jeff Pendergraph

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the San Antonio Spurs have signed forward Jeff Pendergraph to a two-year deal. Terms of the deal have not been announced.

Pendergraph, 26, appeared in 37 games with the Indiana Pacers last season, averaging 3.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 10 minutes per game. The six-foot-nine forward received scant minutes behind Roy Hibbert, David West and Tyler Hansbrough, but Pendergraph did flash a competent mid-range game in limited minutes — he made 21 of 51 (41.7 percent) of his shots from 15-19 feet, per NBA.com.

He'll chip in a few of these shots, along with passable defense, in low leverage minutes with the Spurs.

Pendergraph also got into a heated confrontation with rapper Flo Rida's manager during last years Eastern Conference Finals, so the man does know how to get his name in the headlines. Not that coach Gregg Popovich will appreciate that skill.

Thoughts Spurs fans? What do you think about this move?
