Report: Spurs interested in Telfair

The San Antonio Spurs already boast a roster with plenty of guards but it would seem they are still looking at guards to possibly add with training camp coming up next month.

According to Sam Amico, Sebastian Telfair is drawing interest from the Spurs among other teams.

This is an interesting move for San Antonio. They already have Tony Parker, Cory Joseph, Patty Mills, and Nando De Colo who could run the point guard spot and can back up Parker. Should the Spurs add Telfair to an already crowded guard roster lineup, would be an odd move.

Joseph is making huge positive strides, Mills can light up the scoreboard and De Colo can backup TP in spot moments.

Telfair is a 9-year pro who last played with Toronto and Phoenix last season. For his career, he has averaged 7.4 points, 3.5 assists, 1.6 rebounds, and 39 percent from the floor.
