Report: Richards to play basketball in Dubai next season

According to James Dugdale, a strength and conditioning coach, San Antonio Spurs 2010 draftee Ryan Richards will be playing somewhere in Dubai next season after winning a championship with BC Vienna of the Austrian League in his last season.

Richards is two weeks removed from the Las Vegas Summer League where he didn't receive much playing time but did have an impressive performance in the Spurs' final game against the Milwaukee Bucks where he came off the bench scoring 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting in 16 minutes.

Though there's no confirmed word on where he'll play next season, a strong indicator could be the team Al Shabab Dubai of the United Arab Emirates League.

As written by Project Spurs' Jeff Garcia recently, Richards has a history of moving from team to team and thus far, he hasn't found a stable place to play basketball.

Richards has had a tumultuous time in his basketball career. He parted ways with former team Asseco Prokom Gdynia, left Team Great Britain abruptly to play for Jamaica, left Swiss team Lugano Tigers for "personal reasons," and talk of him having a bad attitude has been mixed in as well.
