According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, veteran center Pau Gasol and the San Antonio Spurs have agreed to a contract buyout and the two sides to part ways.

The 38-year-old center spent three seasons with the Spurs but has seen his role diminished over the course of the 2018-19 season after he missed 26 games with a foot injury.

Gasol averaged 4.2 points and 4.7 rebounds in 12.2 minutes per game this season was expected to earn a guaranteed $6.7 million during the 2019-2020 campaign.

Wojnarowski also reported Gasol is planning to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks.

    • I will eventually. If the Spurs make the playoffs, it’ll have to be once their run finishes. If they miss the playoffs, I’ll work on it once the season is over. The only way I won’t is if we get a clear sign he’s staying overseas again next season.
