San Antonio Spurs 2013 NBA Draft pick Livio Jean-Charles underwent surgery to repair his torn right knee ACL yesterday according to French site EuroSport.com.

According to the report, the surgery was performed in France with one of the Spurs' doctors there on hand. Livio will be out of action for 6-months.

Jean-Charles suffered a right knee injury in the FIBA U-20 games against the Czech Republic.

It hasn't been a good summer for Spurs' assets and current players on the roster overseas.

Aside from Livio, Davis Bertans, Adam Hanga had injuries which required surgery. In addition, Aron Baynes suffered a hamstring injury which caused him to sit out play with Team Australia this summer. Not to mention Tony Parker who is set to have an MRI done on his right knee as well when he injured it yet again in a loss to Spain.
