According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com Wednesday, the Atlanta Hawks will be hiring Austin Spurs General Manager Landry Fields for the Assistant General Manager position with the Hawks.
Atlanta is hiring San Antonio’s Landry Fields as an assistant GM, sources tell ESPN. Fields was GM of the Spurs’ G-League affiliate in Austin. Fields, 32, played five years in the NBA.

Fields joined the Spurs’ staff back in 2016, where he was first a college scout for three seasons. He was recently promoted as the G-League Austin Spurs’ General Manager in September of 2019.
Prior to having a front office role, Fields was a former NBA player from 2010 to 2015, where he spent time with the New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors during his five year playing career.
