Report: Duke’s Seth Curry invited to Spurs training camp

Warriors' Stephen Curry's little brother, Seth Curry, has been invited to the San Antonio Spurs' training camp next season according to SportingNews.com.

Curry is set to workout for the Bobcats in August, after passing up their Summer League offer and missing draft workouts because of a stress fracture in his right shin that required surgery. He already has training camp invites from the Wolves, Spurs and Warriors.

Considering his father (Dell) and brother can shoot the ball quite well, there is no doubt Seth can knock down shots as well.

Seth is a 6"3", 179 lbs. guard and played his college ball at Duke. In the 2012-13 season for Duke, he averaged 17.5 points, shot 46.5 percent from the field, and 43 percent from the three-point line in 35 games played.

He is a deadly perimeter shooter and with the loss of Gary Neal, perhaps the Spurs are entertaining the thought of adding another outside shooter considering the team relies on an inside-outside style of offense.

However, with the roster already loaded with guards (Marco Belinelli, Manu Ginobili, Nando De Colo, Patty Mills, Tony Parker and Cory Joseph) there may not be room for him to make the squad next season. Although, the team could send him ot the Toros to develop his game.

Moreover, at 6"3" and not heavy enough, he might be too undersized for the shooting guard spot in the NBA. He could find a niche in the NBA as simply a shooter for a team needing an outside threat.

What do you think Spurs fans? Does Seth have a legit shot or is he simply training camp fodder?
