According to Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports, San Antonio Spurs forward Boris Diaw is expected to exercise his player option on his contract and remain with the Spurs for the 2013-2014.

The move by Diaw isn't too much of a surprise as he's shown to be a valuable rotation player in the Spurs' system. He's also got fellow French countrymen Tony Parker and Nando De Colo by his side in San Antonio.

With Diaw staying in San Antonio, the Spurs' frontcourt consists of Tim Duncan, Diaw, Matt Bonner, and Aron Baynes. Tiago Splitter is a restricted free agent and though the Spurs are expected to try to bring the Brazilian center back, General Manager R.C. Buford said it could all depend on the market for Splitter and what type of interest he receives.

As for DeJuan Blair, he's all but gone from San Antonio as he's a free agent and has a history of wanting to leave the Spurs for over a year.
