SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs had a back-to-back set to close out the week, falling to the Miami Heat and defeating the Houston Rockets in their last home game in over a month.

The result moved San Antonio to 12th in the Western Conference and a game and a half out of the final play-in spot in the Western Conference.

Here is a mini recap of both games:

Thursday: Heat 112, Spurs 95

Due to the cold winter weather, the game was moved up an hour. The cold weather seemed to affect the Spurs’ shooting as they fell 112-95 to the Heat at the AT&T Center.

Tyler Herro scored 24 points, Bam Adebayo added 18 points and 11 rebounds for Miami. Jimmy Butler added 17 points as the Heat led by as many as 26 points.

Dejounte Murray and Jakob Poeltl, as well as Jock Landale, Doug McDermott, and Keita Bates-Diop all missed time for the San Antonio Spurs.

Derrick White had 22 points for the Spurs while Tre Jones had 16 points.

“Every game, win or lose, is a learning experience,” Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said. “A wonderful experience for all our young guys. They gave it all they had, but Miami is sharp.”

Friday: Spurs
