San Antonio Spurs' Tiago Splitter showed his method of recovery and from the looks of things, he may have angered Darth Vader and got himself put into the carbon freezing chamber.

All kidding aside, Splitter took to Twitter to show his use of the cryosauna treatment to get ready for the 2013 NBA Playoffs and yes folks, you are reading the temperature correct. That is -142 degrees Celsius via liquid nitrogen.

Though he didn't put up the points in Game 1 (2 points) he did a solid job at defending Lakers' Dwight Howard and when you are banging bodies against the likes of Howard and Pau Gasol, you are going to end up with bumps and bruises that will require some serious treatment.

Hopefully, this treatment will allow him to continuing to contain Howard as best he can and keep Tim Duncan fresh for the later rounds.

Though this begs the question, who could have been Lando Clarissian to turn his back on Splitter? Regardless, let's not hope some bounty hunter takes him to Jabba the Hutt until after the playoffs are over.
