With the NBA Finals underway between the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers, and the San Antonio Spurs working out college players before the 2010 NBA Draft, did you know Celtics’ Kendrick Perkins and Lakers’ Josh Powell worked out for the Spurs prior to entering the NBA?
In an interview with Fanhouse, Perkins remembers working out with Powell:
“I worked out with him [Josh Powell] when I was trying to go to the draft and we worked out with the (San Antonio) Spurs together,” Perkins said once it was clear of whom he was discussing.
