With the NBA All-Star game fast approaching, Sunday will definitely have a Texas flavor with San Antonio Spurs' Tim Duncan and Tony Parker making the squads along with James Harden of the Rockets.
Now, according to a tweet via Li Shuangfu, the Taco Bell Skills Competition will also have some local San Antonio flavor as well. It appears Tony will look to defend his Skill Competition title and look to join Dwayne Wade and Steve Nash as players who have won the competition on two separate occasions.
The competition allows point guards and combo guards to show off not only their shooting skills but also their deft passing skills. All of the tasks are to be performed at full sprint showing the players ability master the line between pure speed and deadly accurate shooting and passing.
The competition is comprised of mostly point guards and combo guards with the point guards dominating the competition. Dwayne Wade and Stephen Curry are the only combo guards that have hoisted the trophy.
So during All-Star Saturday night we shall know if Tony will join the small group of repeat winners and defend his title.
