San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker has a packed NBA resume full of accolades. From being an NBA All-Star, a candidate for the NBA MVP, and NBA champion to winning the 2007 NBA Finals MVP, Parker's trophy case is quite full.

Well Parker might want to create some space on that shelf.

TP has been nominated for FIBA’s European Player of the Year in 2012.

Parker is joined by Danilo Gallinari (Italy, Denver Nuggets), Goran Dragic (Slovenia, Phoenix Suns), Marc Gasol (Spain, Memphis Grizzlies), Marcin Gortat (Poland, Phoenix Suns), Nikola Pekovic (Montenegro, Minnesota Timberwolves), Omer Asik (Turkey, Houston Rockets), Pau Gasol (Spain Los Angeles Lakers), Andrei Kirinenko (Russia, Minnesota Timberwolves) and Vassilis Spanoulis (Greece and Olympiacos) as nominees for the award.

Parker led Team France this at this past summer's 2012 Olympic games where the team lost to Spain in the opening round. Parker averaged 15.7 points, and shot 41% for France.

Interesting to note is that San Antonio Silver Stars' Beck Hammond is also nominated for Europe’s Female Player of 2012 for playing for Russia and in the WNBA.
