Parker: Manu saving his best for last

There was no doubt Manu Ginobili was not going to re-sign with the San Antonio Spurs; the team he has only been with for 11 seasons in the NBA. For those 11 seasons, he has brought the franchises many memories, helped the team win three NBA titles, and countless highlight worthy moments.

And though his performance in the postseason may have caused many to question whether he has anything left in the proverbial tank, his teammate, Tony Parker, still feel the best is yet to come from No. 20.

"I still feel like Manu is saving his best for last," … "I can feel a big finale for him. That would be nice; we are definitely going to need it."

In these final season with Manu in black and silver, fans need to know he probably will not be the Manu of old. He will still be an effective player but more a facilitator and not put up the nightly stats.

But like Parker says, this team still needs Manu if they want to head back to the NBA Finals. His leadership, playoff experience, chemistry with Tim Duncan and Parker and punch off the bench will be needed next season.

And if this is indeed Manu's final run in the NBA, then soak in these best moments while you still can.
