NBA Releases Remaining Schedule for San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs have their work cut out for them when the season resumes. Currently sitting at 12th in a crowded Western Conference, they will have to leapfrog several teams just for a chance to play into the eighth seed.

With the news that LaMarcus Aldridge is out for the remainder of the season, the Spurs’ playoff chances are even bleaker, but now there can finally be a chance for some of the young guns to show what they can do.

The NBA still has a lot of things to figure out between now and the continuation of the season as Florida’s coronavirus cases continue to spike. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, 302 players have been tested, with 16 of those results coming back positive.

Nevertheless, all 22 teams still vying for an NBA title are set to travel to Orlando in groups between July 7-9, with the Spurs set to take off on the 9th. The first game will take place between the Utah Jazz and New Orleans Pelicans on July 30 at 6:30 p.m. ET, which will have an effect on the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

The San Antonio Spurs will tip off their season with a matchup against the Sacramento Kings on July 31 at 8 p.m ET. Here is the full remaining schedule, as shared by John Elizondo of News4SA:
