NBA Draft: Oregon forward Arsalan Kazemi works out with Spurs

Another day, another report of workouts from the San Antonio Spurs.  However, this time I'm pretty sure we can trust the source.  Oregon forward Arsalan Kazemi tweeted that he worked out for the Western Conference Champions over the weekend.

Kazemi is a projected late second round pick.  He's Iranian born, 6'8" and helped the 12 seeded Ducks make it to the Sweet 16.  Before that, he played three seasons at Rice.  He's a relentless rebounder who averaged 10 a game in his final collegiate season.  He's probably more of a power forward but in a small forward's body.

He's definitely worthy of a late second round pick.  He can give a team something similar to what Draymond Green gave the Golden State Warriors this season.  He'll never be a star but will be able to give teams 10-15 minutes of hustle and energy and that never hurt anyone.
