There isn’t one network or service that provides the Men’s Rugby 7s live stream around the world. Each nation has its own service. In Canada, fans can follow the Canada 7s on the CBC while Sky Sports handles the broadcast in New Zealand. In the United States, NBC owns the broadcast rights, as they do for most Olympic sports, and they provide the feed on their Peacock platform for Premium subscribers.
Peacock is NBC’s streaming platform that gives subscribers access to live sports, news, and television shows, as well as on-demand playback of the NBC and Universal library. It is safe to say that New Zealand is officially cruising in Men’s 7s as they have now won consecutive events heading into Vancouver. That isn’t to say, however, that they can let their guard down. In pool play last week in Los Angeles, the All Blacks were upset by Samoa but were able to recover in the playoffs on their way to the crown. With their win over Argentina in the championship, they have now placed in the top three in five consecutive events after the slow start in Hong Kong.

New Zealand holds a healthy lead in the standings as they sit 20 points ahead of Argentina, South Africa, and Fiji who are in second, third, and fourth respectively. With five stops on the season yet to go, the advantage isn’t insurmountable. How the nations fair in Canada this weekend could go a long way in producing a shakeup in the rankings.
