They beat the Crimson Tide without TyTy Washington and Sahvir Wheeler, their two best ball handlers. It just goes to show how deep this team could be in the postseason.

If LSU wants to win this game, its offense will have to pack some extra luggage. If it can hold Kentucky to less than its season average of about 80 points, it stands a good chance. LSU currently holds teams to a shade under 62 points a game, but its 73 points a game might not be enough. LSU high scorer Tari Eason will probably have to score more than 17 points this game in order to come out with a win.
Kentucky is hoping to get Sahvir Wheeler and TyTy Washington back for this game as that would be a huge boon for them at home considering Wheeler is the leading assist man in the SEC and Washington has been an excellent shooter. It would also create a lot more open shots for Kellan Grady and potential putbacks from Oscar Tshiebwe.
While Kentucky might be an excellent shooting team, LSU is just as good as limiting shooters. The Tigers allow opponents to only shoot 38.1% from the floor and less than 29% from beyond the arc. Kentucky usually shoots about 36% from three-point land so something will have to give in this game.
