Jamison didn’t feel crowd was behind Lakers in San Antonio

The Los Angeles Lakers have been stumbling this season, but their fan base has been as strong as ever. They're one of the most popular franchises in the league and it doesn't seem often the feel like the're at an "away" game this season.

Their star Kobe Bryant has been heard getting MVP chants when they're away from the Staples enter in some venues. Well, except in two anyway. Lakers forward Antawn Jamison commented on which two away floors actually feel like away games.

Antawn Jamison tells @ESPNLA710 that the only 2 road games he didn't feel the Lakers had the crowd behind them were OKC and San Antonio (@mcten)

It seems San Antonio Spurs fans still have a sense of rivalry against the Lakers and it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Even thought the likes of Shaquille O'Neal and Derek Fisher aren't faces in gold and purple anymore, Bryant is still one of the many reasons why Spurs fans' blood seems to boil. Bryant has won five NBA championships during his career with the Lakers, two of them after the team made a controversial trade for forward/center Pau Gasol in 2007.

This event has been questioned by Spurs fans and others alike and has added to the hate they have toward Los Angeles. The Lakers are barely hanging around the eighth spot in the Western Conference so far, an event that didn't look likely with the talent they have this season.

This underachieving hasn't made the fire against them in San Antonio burn less, especially when it looks like there may be a first round matchup between the two teams. The good news for the silver and black squad is that it looks Spurs fans are firmly behind their team when the Lakers come to town.

It's great news especially when they may be returning after the season is finished depending on the standings.
