Spurs vs. Pacers Preview

In the home opener, the San Antonio Spurs tanked against a Lamelo Ball-less Hornets team, losing by nearly 30 points. Keldon Johnson lead the charge with a double-double and a team high of 20 points. Not to far behind were starters Jakob Poeltl and Tre Jones.

In this game, we have a fully healthy roster. The Pacers on the other hand will have 2 game time decisions in Daniel Theis, and Chris Duarte while Myles Turner is out with a sprained ankle.

The Pacers lost their season opener by 7 points against the Washington Wizards 114-107. The Spurs will need to contain the young 22 year-old Guard Tyrese Haliburton, who put up 28 points against the Wizards.

A Long Year Lies Ahead For A Young Team

With the Spurs likely projected to be at the bottom of the table, the expierence will serve great for the young San Antonio team.

The team is so young in fact that we have more teenagers in the Spurs organization than UTSA. 19 year-old Josh Primo will look to add a spark off the bench, along with our not so young veterans in Gorgui Dieng, and Doug McDermott.
