Iowa State will rely heavily on guard Izaiah Brockington as it has all season. Tyrese Hunter and Gabe Kalscheur will have to step up in this game as Brockington won’t be able to get it done alone. However, he has scored 20 or more 12 times this season and scored 30 or more twice.
Miami has a couple of great guards in Isaiah Wong and Kameron McGusty who the Hurricanes will rely heavily on. Wong was the biggest reason the Canes toppled Auburn and he will likely be the reason they continue to advance should they win this game against Iowa State.
Neither team has a big scoring differential, but ISU holds opponents to 62.3 points per game while scoring 65.9 points per game. Miami holds them to 70.6 points per game and scores 74.7 themselves. This could become a rock fight and if it does, that favors ISU.
