How to watch Breakers vs Bandits USFL: Game Time, Live Stream, Preview

The Bandits completely steamrolled the Maulers in Week 1, but Week 2 brings a much tougher opponent the Breakers! While last week’s game was a total rout the Bandits QB Jordan Ta’Amu had two interceptions. Ta’Amu won’t be able to make those mistakes against the Breakers. The Breakers ran the ball at will all night against the Stars. Breaker’s QB Kyle Sloter has yet to pass for a touchdown he’ll be looking for his opening this Sunday!

USFL Week 1 Controversy

There’s no nice way to say it: The USFL has a kicking problem. With Generals kicker, Nick Rose missing two back-to-back field goal attempts in the inaugural game one might think it’s time for a new kicker. But each game had several missed field goal attempts and bad punts. Sideline Sports reported that chips in the footballs used in USFL games are disrupting the weight distribution and causing adverse effects for Special Teams. A simple fix might be to allow the kickers to use balls without the chips, but we will wait to see how the USFL responds.

New Orleans Breakers vs Tampa Bay Bandits Preview

Sloter needs to put points on the board if the Breakers want to win their first Divisional matchup. The winner of this game is likely to be the leader of the USFL South Division and be in a good position to make it to the playoffs. The Breaker’s defense set them apart against the Stars with Vontae Diggs scoring a defensive touchdown. The Defense will have to put the pressure on Ta’Amu and force more turnovers form him. This will be the Breaker’s Blue Wave Defense’s chance to shine.

All the oddsmakers are favoring the Bandits to win. After destroying the Maulers the Bandits hope to keep the party going. The Bandit’s defense got huge RedZone stops and held the Maulers to only one field goal. The weak link appeared to be Ta’Amu with his two interceptions, but it may just be first-game jitters. XFL fans will remember Ta’Amu as the BattleHawks QB who got signed to the Kansas City Chiefs. But he bounced around NFL teams to find himself back in a spring league. This will be the best matchup of the week and Ta’Amu will be looking to prove his talent to NFL scouts once again. Look for Ta’Amu to settle down a bit and make smart passes.
