2022 AMA Supercross Championship – Anaheim 3 Preview

For the final time this season, AMA Supercross invades Angel Stadium, which has been kind to Craig. The 250SX points leader has had three victories so far, and two of them were in Anaheim. With podium finishes at each stop this season, he has a comfortable lead over much of the field, except for Lawrence who has kept with him every step. During the first two Anaheim races, Lawrence collected a third-place at each stop but is coming off of his first victory of the season.

In the 450SX division, Eli Tomac is looking for a third consecutive victory, to bolster his lead in the points standings. After opening the season with a sixth-place finish in Anaheim, he really turned things around the last three stops. After taking second in San Diego, he won Anaheim 2 and then last week in Glendale. Though there is a lot on the schedule yet to go through, Tomac and Craig are really holding things down in AMA Supercross for the Monster Energy/Star Yamaha Racing team.
