As Project Spurs reported, Spanish team Bilbao was reportedly interested in acquiring Adam Hanga (San Antonio Spurs 2011 NBA Draft pick) in order to stock pile talent heading into the Eurocup and were looking to buy out Hanga's contract with his current team, Manresa of the ACB League.
However, according to Hungarian site Sport24.hu, Hanga's agent said he is not aware of any offer to buy out Hanga's current contract by Bilbao and there are no developments to report. As of now, Hanga will remain with Manresa.
Hanga is averaging 9.9 points, 1.9 assists, 3.7 rebounds, shooting 45.5% from the field in 24 minutes per game in the Spanish League.
If the report had been true, it's not difficult to see why Bilbao would be interested in adding Hanga to the roster. He is young and an exciting player who has ridiculous upside and is a highlight factory.
