Ginobili to pass on playing in Italy, heading to San Antonio

According to journalist Julian Mozo, San Antonio Spurs’ Manu Ginobili will not play for Virtus Bologna during the lockout nor any team unless the NBA lockout cancels the entire season.
This news should bring a smile to Spurs fans. Ginobili isn’t getting any younger and has dealt with a variety of injuries. Most notably ankle injuries. Just recently, Manu suffered a slight injury to his ankles which sent Spurs fans in a tizzy.

The added rest, and training will only do his body wonders once the NBA season kicks off. As a matter of fact, Ginobili recently said he is likely to train with Tim Duncan in San Antonio.

What do you have to say Spurs fans? I’m sure you are ready to agree with Manu and his decision.
