In case you didn’t hear, New Jersey Nets’ Deron Williams went on a scoring tear in a recent game for Turkish team Besiktas (team he is playing with during the lockout) at the EuroChallenge.
And by “scoring tear” I mean Williams dropped 50 points against BG Gottingen in a 105-94 win.
Williams did his damage off 17/23 from the field and 7/10 from the three-point line, and 9/11 from the free-throw line in 36 minutes. It was also enough to get the attention of San Antonio Spurs’ Manu Ginobili.
“Wow” indeed Manu.
