MGAfter getting two days off, San Antonio Spurs’ Manu Ginobili and Argentina returned to exhibition action Friday night as they defeated Uruguay 77 to 50 in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Ginobili had been leading Argentina in scoring the last couple of games but took a back seat as Houston Rockets’ Luis Scola took command with 21 points while Ginobili finished with eight points. Milwaukee’s Carlos Delfino returned to the lineup and provided 14 points while “Chapu” Andres Nocioni of Philadelphia provided four points.

Former Spur Fabricio Oberto sat out the game as he is dealing with a thigh injury. He is doubtful to be ready (H/T Ole Basquet) by the time the FIBA Americas tournament begins in a week and a half in Mar del Plata, Argentina.

Ginobili and Argentina continue to stay undefeated in exhibition matchups as they won their sixth game in a row Friday night.
