San Antonio Spurs' free agent Manu Ginobili announced via Twitter he has resigned with the team for 2-years.

The details of the deal haven't been announced, however, there was no doubt Manu was not going to return despite reports Houston was looking to add him.

Last season, he was starting to look worn down physically and wasn't the "Manu" of years past. But going forward, in what will more than likely be his final two seasons with San Antonio, expect him to be more of a facilitator rather than the night-in and night-out offensive threat he once was.

Ginobili averaged 11 points, 4.6 assists, and shot 42% from the field in the regular season. In the postseason, he averaged 11 points, 5 assists, and shot 39% from the field. However, he committed costly turnovers (especially in the NBA Finals versus the Heat) which drew the ire of Spurs fans to the point some of them did not want him to return.

Though contract details have not been released, he more than likely will see a pay cut.

Thoughts Spurs fans? What do you hink about Manu returning?
