Gasol looks to OT loss to Spurs in series against Thunder

It was a thrilling Game 4 between the Memphis Grizzlies and Oklahoma City Thunder as it went into triple overtime where the Thunder emerged on top.

A great win for the Thunder and a crushing loss for the Grizzlies as they blew a double-digit lead. However, for Memphis’ Marc Gasol, he says his team has been in that situation before and points to the overtime loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the first-round:

“We understand that we take it one game at a time. Against San Antonio, when we lost that heartbreaking game, they beat us and that game is over and we had other goals to reach. … As long as we win the next one, we’re going to be OK.”

If any team can bounce back from a loss like that would be Memphis. The Grizzlies were up 3-1 against the Spurs in the first round when they lost a thrilling game that went into overtime thanks to two huge shots by Manu Ginobili and Gary Neal.

However, Memphis won the next game to move on to the Western Conference Semifinals.
