On Monday, news came after France's 85-84 loss to Spain that San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker had re-injured his right knee in the match and would need an MRI conducted on Tuesday to discover the severity of his injury.

Early Tuesday in France, the results came in, and according to the French National team director Patrick Beesley, Parker's examines showed his knee will be OK and the injury isn't too serious.

Even Parker himself said he would be ok via translated Tweets from the French Federation of Basketball:

Tony Parker: "after the MRI this morning I will follow appropriate care. It does not cause the next preparation match."

Tony Parker "I'm not worried, I'll be at 100% for the Euro. I turn to the competition with confidence."

In the game, Parker continued to play with the injury as he scored 26 of his 29 points in the second half. With eight days off before the 2013 Eurobasket tournament begins next week on September 4th, he'll have time to rest and recover.
