Former San Antonio Spurs player Alvin Robertson is in trouble for failing to appear in court yesterday in 
San Antonio according to the Express News:
Former NBA All-Star Alvin Robertson had been set to appear in court Monday to ask for less restrictive bond conditions while awaiting trial on a child sex trafficking charge. But the hearing was cancelled after the ex-Spur failed to show.
Attorneys and representatives from Bexar County Pretrial Services waited about 20 minutes in 399th state District Court. Because his whereabouts are tracked with a GPS ankle monitor, the group was able to determine that he was still at home.
Robertson, along with others, was arrested in 2010 accused of forcing a 14-year-old girl into prostitution in Corpus Christi, Texas and in San Antonio. Robertson has said he is innocent of the accusations.
Robertson played with the Spurs from 1984-1989 before being traded, along with Greg “Cadillac” Anderson, to the Milwaukee Bucks for Terry Cummings. While in the NBA, Robertson was known for his defensive prowess and was one of four players in league history to ever record a quadruple-double.
Hopefully Robertson will eventually turn his life around for the better and come out of his legal woes once and for all.
