SAN ANTONIO — Former San Antonio Spurs guard George Hill has made his return to the city of San Antonio though it’s not in a Indiana Pacers jersey.
Hill is currently playing with the ABA’s Texas Fuel in the midst of the ongoing NBA lockout.
With his team trailing the Hill Country Stampede by 57-62 at halftime, Hill answered some questions from the media.
“I know San Antonio misses basketball, I’m just trying to give back to the fans,” Hill said about his return to the Alamo City.
When asked if he would have liked to be a part of the voting from the league’s latest proposal Hill said, “The guys are doing a good job. I’m thankful for Derek Fisher and Roger Mason.”
One of the last questions Hill answered was whether or not he was looking at any options overseas, Hill quickly replied, “Not really.”
Check back tomorrow for more coverage from Hill’s San Antonio return.
