According to sondakika.com former San Antonio Spurs player James Gist, currently playing for Turkey’s Fenerbahe Ulker, tested positive for dope. Also according to the report, Gist could face a suspension but the team said they will continue to investigate the matter before any further action is taken.
Gist was selected by the Spurs in the 2008 NBA Draft in the second round. The Spurs released him in 2010. He played in Italy after being released by the Spurs.
