SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs announced today that guards Bryn Forbes and Dejounte Murray have been recalled from the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League.
In five games with Austin, Forbes is averaging 20.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 34.6 minutes per game. He’s also shooting 53 percent (34-for-64) from the field and 59 percent (15-23) from beyond the arc.
With his most recent assignment, Forbes is averaging 26.7 points in his last three games, while shooting 60 percent from field and a blistering 77 percent on 3-pointers.
For Murray, he’s played in 11 games for the Austin Spurs this season, averaging 15.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 2.0 steals in 34.2 minutes per game. He’s also averaging 5.2 turnovers per game while shooting just 42 percent on field goals.
Both players will join the San Antonio Spurs in Los Angeles as the silver and black take on the Clippers tonight at 9:30 p.m. CST.
