Ex-Spur Bowen at Cowboys camp

The NFL is back after ending their lockout and the Dallas Cowboys are in the Alamo City for training camp at the Alamodome.

And as the players put the pads on and get knocked to the ground in preparation for the upcoming season, former San Antonio Spurs defensive ace and Cowboys fan, Bruce Bowen, was on the sidelines chatting it up with owner Jerry Jones.

However, before camp opened up, Dallas waived three big name players – Marion Barber, Roy Williams and Leonard Davis all for cost-cutting measures.

So with a few spots open, perhaps Bowen can throw the pads on and play running back, wide receiver, or offensive lineman? Well, maybe none of those positions seeing how he is much more suited to play cornerback and could bring some of his brand of defense to the Dallas defense.
