On Saturday, San Antonio Spurs draftees Adam Hanga and Davis Bertans struggled individually, as both of their teams fell in their second to last game of the 2013 FIBA Eurobasket qualifier.

Hanga and Hungary fell to Croatia 81-79, making it almost all but impossible for them to qualify for the 2013 Eurobasket games. Hanga’s main struggles were staying on the court in this game. He only played 27 minutes due to his four personal fouls. Though he struggled to shoot the ball (4/10 Field Goals for 10 points), he did well rebounding (7), passing (7 assists), and blocking (3) in the game.

With the loss, Hungary fell to 2-5 (9 points) in Group C. In order for them to have any shot at qualifying, they would need to blow out Cyprus (0-7) on Tuesday, and they would need Austria to get annihilated by Croatia.

Latvia and Bertans fell to Georgia 73-70 on Saturday as well, in a game where Bertans (3 points) attempted just three shots in 16 minutes of play. With the loss, Latvia fell to third place in Group D, which means they would only get into Eurobasket by mathematical figures should they maintain that position. Latvia has accumulated 13 points, which means the best place they can finish is second in Group D assuming Georgia falls on Tuesday.

Latvia will face Romania (1-6) on Tuesday in the final game of the Eurobasket qualifier, they will be hoping for a Georgia loss and blow out of Romania in order to capture the guaranteed two-seed.
