Despite a better effort, the San Antonio Spurs fell 124-119 to the Brooklyn Nets in their penultimate scrimmage game on Saturday afternoon in Florida.

The game saw San Antonio lead by six but trail by as many as 13 points. Quinndary Weatherspoon missed the game but Spurs Head Coach Gregg Popovich did not give a reason for why.

San Antonio was led by Derrick White, who put together a great outing with 22 points. He shot 46 percent from the floor and went 4-for-7 from 3-point land while adding three rebounds and four assists. Lonnie Walker IV started the game and poured in 14 while Bryn Forbes had 15 off the bench.

The Nets took a 13-point lead in the second half thanks to a 39-31 third quarter. Caris LeVert had a game-high 27 points to lead Brooklyn while Tyer Johnson had 17 off the bench while Joe Harris added 12.
