According to Chris Haynes of ESPN, San Antonio Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan has decided to withdraw from the 2018 NBA Africa Game and Basketball Without Borders camp.

DeRozan will be using that time to ‘get his affairs in order’ after being traded from Toronto to San Antonio, according to the report.

The NBA’s third game in Africa is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 4th at Sun Arena at Time Square in Pretoria, South Africa.

DeRozan was listed as the headliner for Team World, which features Spurs forward Rudy Gay, while also facing former teammates Serge Ibaka and Pascal Siakam.

While DeRozan has withdrawn from the Africa Game, he still plans on attending Team USA Mini Camp in Las Vegas according to Sam Amick.
