Today kicks off the San Antonio Spurs 2011 training camp after a the long lockout is over. And camp is sure to have some familiar faces and new ones.
Speaking of new faces, Doug Thomas of the D-League’s Reno Bighorns will be taking his shot at making the Spurs roster.
Thomas, who played college ball at Iowa, is 6-9, 245 lbs., forward, who averaged 2.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, shot 60% from the field in 46 games for the Bighorns last season.
Though he might be a long shot to make the squad, check out some highlights of Thomas in action.
