Cotton leads Spurs to road win in Oklahoma City

Highlights:

The Austin Spurs survived a late push from the Oklahoma City Blue and held on for a 110-104 in front of 2,444 fans inside the Cox Convention Center on Saturday night.

Once again Bryce Cotton led the way for Austin, scoring 23 points and dishing out six assists on 6-of-10 shooting from the field. Walter Tavares had a big game with 18 points and 17 rebounds, while Lamar Patterson chipped in 19 points for the Spurs.

Talib Zanna led the Blue with 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting. Dez Wells added 19 points and Dakari Johnson chipped in 16 for Oklahoma City (0-1), who dropped their season opener.

The Spurs are now 2-0 on the season and will return to the court on Tuesday at 11 a.m. when they welcome the Grand Rapids Drive to the Cedar Park Center for a School Day game.
