For those San Antonio Spurs fans that were born after 1984 were not treated to seeing George “The Iceman” Gervin play in his prime and witness his patented "finger roll" shot.
Well thanks to friend of Project Spurs Mookie Schiralli over at And Rise, the site took some classic black and white pictures of NBA stars of the past and given us those same moments – in color. The colorization process used by these folk’s results in a photo quality product which yields an enjoyable trip back in time.
Check out this classic black and white photo of Gervin facing off against the Nuggets in color. It is pretty sweet.
