Cavs hoping to repeat history, extend Finals tonight

The Golden State Warriors know all too well that a 3-1 lead in the Finals is not safe.

The Cleveland Cavaliers proved as much in last year’s Finals when they flipped the series on its head and rallied back to win their championship.

Their blistering start followed by a fizzle out has haunted them all year and they missed an opportunity to close out the series with their fourth consecutive sweep in Game 4.

Game 5 is back in Oracle Arena and the Warriors will have their home crowd behind them but they’ll have to make a run early to try to put a stop to any momentum the Cavs will be riding in on from their victory.

Kevin Durant will again be the Warrior’s key player and the Cavs will need LeBron’s supporting cast to step up once again in order to get closer to a series upset.

“Many NBA betting fans thought that Golden State was invincible, but the 21-point loss proved them wrong. The Warriors head to Game 5 as 8.5 favorites, but they have to put their stuff together, recover from their loss and win on Monday night to avoid the series from going to seven games” commented Dave Strauss, line manager at MyBookie.ag sportsbook.
