Canelo May Not Be the Only Thing Mayweather Has To Deal With

Just as San Antonio Spurs fans begin to cope with the devastating Game 7 loss to the Miami Heat, a new story comes out.

This time, however, it’s not about Ray Allen’s foot being out of bounds, or even Danny Green showing up to the same club as LeBron James and teammates, it has to do with boxing star Floyd “Money” Mayweather.

The pound-for-pound king is being sued by a Miami based ticket company named White Glove International for $80,000. The reason, Mayweather-allegedly- did not pay for his four courtside seats for Game 7 of the NBA Finals between the Spurs and Heat.

White Glove International states that Mayweather bought three $25,000 courtside tickets on June 20th- the same day as Game 7- and one seat directly behind him costing $5,000 and has yet to pay his bill.

Mayweather, who will be fighting Mexican superstar Saul “Canelo” Álvarez this weekend in Las Vegas, is expected to purse $41.5 million on Saturday, September 14. To put that in perspective, if the allegations are true, Floyd could pay the $80,000 and lose only .2% of his total guaranteed purse.

Isn’t it great to be Floyd Mayweather?
