Bulls focused on NBA's top seed

Who would have thought so much would be riding on the San Antonio Spurs’ final two games of the regular season?

By now, you know that the Spurs and Chicago Bulls are fighting it out for the best record in the NBA and homecourt throughout the playoffs. Currently, the Spurs hold a one game lead over the Bulls and should they win out their final two games against the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns, San Antonio will secure home court over Chicago should the two teams meet in the NBA Finals.

It’s on the Spurs’ mind and on the mind of Bulls and Derrick Rose:

“We’re focused on it,” Rose said. “We know it’s pretty close. Coach always says we’re playing for something. So why not go for it?”

As said before, the Spurs square off with the Lakers tonight in Los Angeles. A tough place to win. The last time the Spurs ventured into the Staples Center, it took an Antonio McDyess last-second tip-in for the Spurs to win. As for the Bulls, they will be facing the New York Knicks tonight. A team Chicago has not beaten this season.

Go Knicks!
