TURNING POINT

A 10-0 run by Raptors 905 midway through the second quarter helped chance a six point Raptors deficit into a four point lead. After Miller hit four of his six free throws during the run, Thompson had back-to-back buckets to give 905 the lead.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

•  Austin shot just 35 percent (29-for-84) from the floor, while the Raptors made 11 more shots than the Spurs at 40-of-86 (47 percent).

•  The Spurs went 9-of-27 (33 percent) from beyond the arc in the loss and shot a nice 11-of-14 (79 percent) from the charity stripe. Raptors 905, meanwhile, were a mouth-dropping 2-of-10 (10 percent) from downtown and went 69 percent (11-of-16) from the free throw line.

•  Raptors managed to record twice the total number of steals than Austin (10 to 5).

•  Raptors 905 outrebounded the Spurs by nine (51-42), but both teams finished with 19 total assists and recorded five blocked shots respectively.

INSIDE THE FLOW

•  The Spurs controlled most of the first, holding a six point lead in the first and holding a three point advantage after one quarter of play.

•  Toronto managed a 10-0 run to take a two point lead with just over five minutes to go in the half.

•  A 7-0 run early in the 3rd quarter helped put the 905 up double digits with 9:39 to go in the third.

•  A successful three-pointer by Hanlan 17 seconds into the fourth gave Austin a little bit of light, but 26 points in the fourth was too much as Austin fell by double digits in Canada.

NOTABLES

•  Jaron Blossomgame recorded a team-high 18 points and four boards

•  Two-way player Darrun Hilliard added 16 points and a team-high eight rebounds.

•  Amida Brimah added 10 points and eight boards, as well, in just 24 minutes of play on 80 percent shooting (4-of-5) off the bench.
