Coming off a humiliating loss to the 76ers inside the AT&T Center Friday, the Spurs looked to avoid back-to-back home losses for the first time since mid-November (Warriors and Bucks) with another meeting against the Kings. Trailing by one at the break, consecutive 30+ point quarters in the second half helped San Antonio win Sunday afternoon, which was in large part to a season-high 23-point performance by 2nd year player Bryn Forbes. Double-double efforts by Pau Gasol and Dejounte Murray also helped the Spurs, who have now won 11 of their last 19, secure the big home win in front of a near-sold-out crowd.
