The Summer of 2013 has been the Summer of knee injuries for several of the San Antonio Spurs’ young talent developing overseas. A rash of knee injuries has affected Davis Bertans, Adam Hanga and now Livio Jean-Charles.
Bertans recently went under the knife and even he seems surprised at his recovery, according to a message he posted on Twitter.
My knee is feeling so good that even i'm surprised that it's been only 12 days after surgery… #GettingBetterEveryDay #WorkingHard

Bertans, who played for Partizan Belgrade this season, tore his ACL in a game during the Serbian League finals last month and is expected to be out for Eurobasket.
However, considering his recovery, Bertans may make the push to be back during some of the tournament. Although with an average recovery time of 2-4 months, the Spurs would likely prefer that he spend most of the rest of his summer healing up.
