Baynes recalled, Diaw and Parker injury update

The San Antonio Spurs have recalled Aron Baynes from the Austin Toros.

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have recalled center Aron Baynes from the Austin Toros of the NBA Development League. (Spurs.com)

The Australian native has played in 12 games with the Spurs this season since being signed on Jan. 23, averaging 2.8 points and 1.7 rebounds in 7.6 minutes.

This is after the team got some bad news on Boris Diaw's injury from Saturday's game against the Atlanta Hawks.

Spurs forward Boris Diaw (lumbar facet sprain) is listed as out for Wednesday's game vs. Denver. Tony Parker (sore neck) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game.
With Diaw being out and Tim Duncan likely looking to have limited minutes heading into the postseason, Baynes being recalled shouldn't be too much of a shock to Spurs fans. Tony Parker's injury status is still up in the air as the Spurs haven't reported too much on his neck nor have given any information on his shin injury from the past few games.

Seems the Spurs are limping into the playoffs but  does it make you concerned Spurs fans?
