If you have ever wanted to see the future players of the NBA play in person, here is your chance.

Spurs Sports and Entertainment announced the Austin Spurs will play at the AT&T Center on Tuesday, December 29 against the defending D-League champion Santa Cruz Warriors.

Austin and Santa Cruz will play the first D-League game at the AT&T Center in the buildings history. The arena just underwent $110 million renovations, including a brand new LED scoreboard.

“The Austin Spurs game at the AT&T Center will mark the first time in history that a NBA Development League team has played in the San Antonio market,” said SS&E Vice President of Franchise Business Operations Tim Salier. “This will provide a unique opportunity for our Austin team to play in the NBA home of their parent team, the San Antonio Spurs.  We are looking forward to giving all San Antonio basketball fans this chance to see the high level of competitive play that exists in the D-League.”

The Spurs are currently 1-0 on the season and will return to the court tonight for their first road contest of the season against the Oklahoma City Blue at 7 p.m. inside the Cox Convention Center.
