AUSTIN – The Austin Spurs are teaming up with Texas Oncology and Susan G. Komen Austin for Pink Night to help bring awareness to breast health issues, the team announced last week.
From the press release:
“Texas Oncology will provide complimentary tickets to the game for survivors and their families, and the Austin Spurs will wear special pink commemorative jerseys during the game. The signed, game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off online during the game.
Fans will have the opportunity to cast their bids through the end of the third quarter on Jan. 20 with proceeds benefitting Komen Austin. Additional auction details will be available at AustinSpurs.com starting next week. Additionally, Great Clips will provide complimentary haircuts during the game and will contribute 100 percent of all tips collected to Komen Austin.”
Tipoff for Saturday’s game against the Grand Rapids Drive is at 7 p.m. CST with the game being streamed on Twitch.
